What Von Smith Should Have Learned…

When Simon says wear a hat…wear the stinkin hat! This, Von did not do Thursday night on American Idol’s wild card show. And THAT, is just one of the reasons he’s no longer a part of the show. There was no funk, no spunk, just nerves. Von was one of eight previously dissed singers to get a second chance. Unfortunately he sang what the judges called a “serious” and “dark” song. So it is with sadness we say goodbye to the final Missouri contestant. The good thing about it is home town fans won’t have to wait as long to see him in person.
